At the moment I'm logjammed at PF so I don't think adding Joe Smith as the #2 guy would help in that matter. On the other trade I'm also very deep with lost of picks coming up in the upcoming drafts so I dont think that I would do a deal where I take on more players/picks than I give away. One solution for a situation like this could be to upgrade my picks, as in I get a 1st rounder and give back a 2nd rounder. Mo Pete is on the block. Averaged 14pts and 4 brds as a SF last year, and averaged 13.8 pts and 3.8 assts as a PG this preseason. That demonstrates the man's versatility. Giving up all of those draft picks plus Peterson for Gary Payton is insane. Your team will just slowly get worse over each season when you don't have any draft picks.

You do realize that we're not having a rookie draft every sim season? And when we'reat season 7 or 8 - what do I need 28 players for - I can only play 5 at 1 time. On the other hand you will have no players left by then as you would still have to give up players to the draft even if you do not have picks to get anything back. I can't let Camby go in a deal like that but we might be able to get something going with Dream. Camby's preseason stats: 35 min - 12 pts/8 reb/2 blocks Dream's preseason stats: 27 min - 10 pts/7 reb But regardless I will have to see how my team does with Bibby at point for a few more games until I can ship out Payton.
