Ok, that's cool, DVauthrin. I guess when you told me the stats, it seemed like you weren't exactly sure, and I couldn't find the posting of it anywhere. I went ahead and confirmed the deal.

sorry vj, I don't even know if I would do my original offer. Brand is good, but he isn't light years ahead of Van Horn.

I don't like Googs that much. IMO, my 3rd string pf is better (Aaron Williams), he puts up similar numbers and is younger. A rookie pick doesn't interest me that much either.

    It's alright.

DBC, I'm interested in Brown(PJ right?).

I'd be willing to offer Googs/Billups

Anyone with a good backup center just write up an offer.

I will need a backup shooting guard and can offer scrubs and picks.

    C Geiger
    C Jones
    C MacCulloch
    PF Battie
    PF Lynch
    SF McLeod
    G/F Buford

I might opt for a starting SG and then I can offer one of my point guards as a part of the deal.

    PG Payton
    PG Bibby
    PG Nash

All capable of a starting job.

I will consider any offer even if they do not completly follow my guidelines. The statements above is just my thoughts. Everybody is available for a price and depending on what I get back I can offer players not mentioned here. (If I give up Marion or Patterson I most certainly need a SF back in the deal)

    Heath- What are Nash's numbers.

I can offer Morris Peterson. I think he averaged something in the ballpark of 14/4 last season.

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Heath, how about Kittles(or Gill) + Feick for

    Geiger + Nash?

If not, look at my roster, see what kind of deal you may want to work out. The only kind of "blockbuster" player I would be interested in would be Camby and maybe Marion. I'll be back on later tonite.

Ok guys, I want a shooting guard, not a sad shooting guard either, a solid shooting guard.

I'm going to be stingy with my deals b/c my youth has a lot of upside. This is a Daryl Ward for starting pitcher kind of deal.

Lewis and Miles have tremendous upside, they're both equal in talent, unfortunately they're both small forwards. I want a solid SG for one of the two. I might be willing to give up a draft pick with Miles or Lewis depending on the talent offered.

I've got 4 draft picks, my first rounder, VOR's first rounder, celtics 2nd rounder, and my 2nd rounder.

I want an Allen Houston/Michael Finley type of player. This trade would benefit a team thats trying to rebuild in a season or two because given time, Lewis/Miles will develop into solid starters that will be better than what you give up more than likely.

Lafrentz isn't available anymore unless I'm getting a solid C in return.

BGM, I'm just throwing this out there to see what you think of it.

    How about ...

    Antonio Davis, Sprewell for

Lafrentz, Miles, Vaughn and 1st round pick.

or maybe Hughes for Miles +2nd round pick or rookie pick.

oh, and I probly won't be on till tommorow morning, but I would like to see a response. [IMG]

Take out Davis and Lafrentz and we can talk about a Miles+pick+vaughn for Sprewell deal...

I'm not interested in those trade away 40% of your roster for 20% of another roster kind of deals. I already did one of those with VOR...

    Nash numbers:
    Last Season - 5.7 pts, 3.4 ast, 3 reb, 22 min
As Starter - 10 pts, 7.3 ast (I guess 4-5 rebs and 30-32 mins but Cat didn't give me those numbers/I didn't ask)
This Preseason - 6 pts, 4 ast, 20 min (Cat didn't state rebs)

    MoPete's numbers this preseason: 7pts/3ast/26min
(I need you to find confirmation of a 14/4 production last year to consider this trade)

Eddie Gill? Kerry Kittles. I do not think I would be interrested in trading for them even if the deal didn't include Nash.

On another note - I do have enough centers so if a trade includes me giving up a center as a part of the deal I do not need to get one back. I have a deep roster and extra picks in the upcoming drafts so I was thinking about offering some extra depth for a better player. So I could give up 2-3 players and a pick/player for one or two players. It is also not only scrubs I'm offering depending - some ofthem are producing nice numbers too, and could do even better with more playing time. (The players that are real scrubs I can throw in as extras to make your team deeper.) I know offering picks might not be that valueable in the beginning of a new season, but then again trading them later I probably want more for them [IMG] But come next season that pick can be more worth than the player you are trading away.

I've checked your roster and it seems that the only player at SG I want is Sprewell, but then we are talking about moving some bigger pieces. You might be able to sell me Hughes, but I'm not that high on him so then I need to see some numbers that prove my scepticism (sp?) wrong. If some of the others are getting good numbers you can get them for me, but it seems like these guys are buried deeper on your bench than my players are.

hmm. taking out LaFrentz kinda dampens my enthusiasm a little bit. Do you have any idea of Mile's numbers as a starter? I like Miles, but I don't know how much young players numbers are going to increase vs older players numbers decreasing. A Sprewell type sg is rare, one that can put up good offensive numbers + play good d. If I can get some assurance(I don't know how [IMG] ) that Miles will put up numbers even close to sprewell, then I might consider it. Vaughn is just a throw in.

    Heath-

What about the deal I posted earlier about Houston and payton:

    Payton
    Jones or Geiger you choose

    Houston-- 21 pts, 4 reb, 29 min
Joe Smith(8 and 5 for season,10 and 7 as starter)
or maybe you would like this better.

    Payton
    Marion

    for

    Houston-- 21 pts, 4 reb, 29 min
    Mash-- 18 pts, 5 reb, 31 min
    My 2nd pick next year

Heath, Sprewell is available, but I can't think of a workable deal on your roster. I certainly don't need a pg(of starting material) unless somebody wants to work a major deal to land Marbury. I like Marion and Camby, but alone, neither are worth Sprewell. I really don't see why people are so down on Hughes. He is avging 11pts, 2 rebounds in about 18 minutes off the bench in the preseason. imo, he was the 2nd best sg in the draft and the steal of the 2nd round.

Oh, and it's not Eddie Gill, it's Kendall. [IMG] I'll probably start Kittles sometime just to see what kind of numbers he's capable of. The ONLY reason he is not getting minutes is because he is stuck behind Sprewell and Hughes at the sg spot.
