I think I can give you a deal that fits you better if I get the other trades going, but look at my roster and see if you find something that could get me a deal even before I do another trade. Btw what do you want most out of a deal with Houston - I guess with also having Stackhouse SG is not your biggest need. (My roster can be found in the roster & stats thread)

I made another thread for this, but I'm gonna post it here too for people to see.

Van Horn-- 18.7 pts, 7.8 reb, 34 min
    Sprewell-- 18.2 pts, 4.7 reb, 36 min

Has to be a good offer for me to part with them. I am looking for a stud PF and a decent SG to take Sprewell's place. And I have to have numbers for all players involved.

What about Mutombo and Snow for Houston and my second rounder(#4)?

I'm looking for a draft pick anywhere from 12-16.

    I can offer Googs+Patterson/Garret/Avery.

    Googs-About 7, 4

But he played behind Camby and Brand/Garrett and Garnett.

I thought I'd repost it before it gets buried on the first page. I'll offer any one of my big men(except Zo) for a good back-up point. I don't exactly have good big men, but I'm only asking for your scraps in return.

I could be willing do deal in scraps but my scraps is not the best when it comes down to players capable of playing the point. I have Lynch available at forward and he produced good when he started for me last season. What I could offer at point is McKie (he played some backup pg for me) and Ollie - so thats not to much I'm afraid. I could perhaps offer you Nash who is of starter quality but then I really need something back [IMG] I guess the chances for getting a deal done is slim to none - but I'm just keeping the trade talk busy today [IMG]

Scraps they may be, but scraps is better than what I have at that position.

Lynch really interests me, but I don't have the assets to swing that deal unless I start dealing my draft picks, and I don't plan on dealing those.

I think I can swing a deal for McKie though. Tony Battie for McKie(Be kind when you say no). Battie isn't much to look at, or play, but he did produce for me in an otherwise dreary season.

    PF - Battie-- 8.9 pts, 7.1 reb, 32 min

    Heath,

Patterson averaged about 6-7 ppg and 3 rebs in 15 minutes off my bench.

    Still interested?

Sorry guys for disappearing after working up the board with board with tradetalk - but I thought I should lay my head dwon on the pillow to give you guys some time to respond -and I fell asleep.

Puedlfor - I think I can work a deal for Ollie. I I will just have to see what other deals bring me. I might even "give" you McKie although I hoped I could use him some this season. We will talk before the draft, and get something going.

RunninRaven - Not exactly the production I had hoped from Patterson but we might still be able to pull it of. I will see what option I have with other trades. Talk to you also before the draft and decide.

    Heath-
Sorry about the misunderstanding. It was NOT my intention in any way to mislead you. You can take that as you will, but its the truth.

I really think we should try to work some variation of the trade. And in all fairness, i think you should consider my trade proposals first.

    Grizz trade:
    Bibby
    Swift
    1st Rounder
    Rookie pick

    Sixers trade:
    Iverson
    1st Rounder

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

    Heath,
I have rethought my above post and think that I would rather offer Houston, and my 2nd round pick(#4) for Mutombo, Nash and your 2nd rounder(#9).I didn't realize until now that Snow was up for the draft.

Houston avg 19, 4, 3 at PG he was averaging 23 at SG but I played Stack there and was forced to play him out of position.

Good thing you rethought as I missed your first post - I liked the Snow deal better but I do not know if I can change who I submit to the draft this late. My need for Houston is also really depending on if I get a deal on with Iverson. (I know - its confusing - first I could not trade as I didnt know what happened in the Iverson saga - now I will have to wait if I trade him to see if I need Houston. If I do not trade Iverson I also can tell you that I like Ravens offer for Mutumbo better.

btw sorry for missing your post earlier - have I seen it I could have given you this respons much sooner. (I think this is the downside to having all tradetalk in one thread)

I completely understand. If the Iverson thing doesn't work out with Nomar maybe we could work something out. I know I have Stack but I am not dead set against dealing him for the right offer. A deal with Iverson and stack and picks is definitely possible on my end.

    I like that trade.

Substitute my 2nd rounder this year though.

    Bibby
    Swift
    1st Rounder
    2nd Rounder next year
    2nd Rounder 3rd year

    Iverson
    1st Rounder

I feel I cant say no to that. We just have to confirm with Cat that he is going to have 2 draft rounds for the 2 next seasons.

    The trade would be then:

    Bibby
    Swift
    1st Rounder
2nd Rounder next year (this is the 3rd year)
    2nd Rounder 4th year

    Iverson
    1st Rounder

Cat can you confirm that this trade is ok - meaning that there will be atleast 2 round drafts for the upcoming 2 seasons. I really would feel stupid to recall another trade.

Other with thoughts on the trade? I know I got blasted for doing the last 1 but I believe that I had a good deal if I had understood the rookie thing right. I still believe this deal is good and I know Nomar will get 3 superstars now in KG, Iverson and Rahim. If you think that I with this trade make Nomar a powerhouse in the west you are all free to make me better offers. If the feeling is Nomar tricks me out of Iverson again you should really try offering me something to get him yourself. I personally like what I'm getting here.

    Heath see my post above.

    What about:
    Iverson
    1st round pick(#9)

    for:
    Stackhouse
    1st round pick(#4)
    next years 2nd

It depends on how good swift becomes.

    Bibby= your first round pick.

The two 2nd round picks are of marginal interest.

    So the trade ends up:

    Swift
    First overall pick

    for

    Iverson

I personally think none of these options will get you another iverson, so you are just trading for solid depth. If your ok with that, then fine.

But I still think we should AX the common draft.
