    BGM,

    I'm interested in picks, a 3, 4, or maybe even a 1 if I trade away Knight.

Make an offer, you have a few interesting players...

To the new GMs. If your team has one win or less, I am willing to trade all four of my draft picks along with Kenyon Martin and Al Harrington for your 1st round pick in the rookie draft and your first round pick in common draft. I have a first and second round pick in the common draft, and I have two first round picks in the rookie draft. I own mine and the nets pick.

Kenyon Martin 11.3 points 5.8 rebounds in 23 minutes.
Al Harrington-- 7 pts 2 reb in 19 minutes.

Mo Pete and Erick Strickland p4.

Sam- what do you have in mind.

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Well, I don't know the rest of your roster, Nomar, but what do you think about a straight up swap for Mo Pete? I couldn't use him at the 3, but maybe he would be alright playing the big guard spot.

Rimbaud- I would go for a straight up swap of MoPete for Knight. Remember, Knight's stats are inflated.

Sam- Striaght swap won't work. Can you give me a bench player?

I don't understand why you bother saying this when in almost every trade offer you want more than just a straight up swap.

Nomar, through no fault of my own, my bench is pretty brutal. I could offer you Sam Perkins, if you want him.

I am interested in a decent backup point guard. I can offer my second round pick in the common draft. I own the clippers pick so the pick will nab a very good player. Hit me back.

    I could possibly offer:
Greg Anthony: 7.4 pts, 2.2 asst, 18 min

or Matt Maloney (for some reason I did not get his #'s)

I will prolly take Greg Anthony, but I want to field other offers. I think the trade is close but you have the clear edge. Unfortunally, I have nothing else to offer to get a slightly better player, and stupid me just gave up chris childs because I did not want him on my team. Now I regret that move.

Listen up all GMs, if you are interested in a top second round pick in the upcoming common draft, and think you have a player as good or slightly better than Greg Anthony, speak up. I will trade the pick. All long time GMs know a second round pick in the top 3 nabs very good players.

Castor: I'm not sure on the deal, but as I said I would like to wait before making deals involving my players until I see what happens in the realseason.

New GMs: Even if I wont let my startersbest bench players go untilI see what they produce in the season I might still do a trade with my scrubs/picks

Yes. Crisco the kid, you are the one Pat Riley would be proud of. Think about the trade you proposed. I lose a sg and combination sg/sf, who are both better than hughes, and a sweet second round pick. Turk is the only player worth having in your deal, and he hasnt even begun to reach his potential in the sim. I would then have a lineup that featured hughes at shooting guard and turk backing up both the sg and sf positions. Oh the horror of it all! And I still would not have the backup point guard I want.

that's where our difference lies. I think Hughes is head and shoulders above either of your backup sgs, and still has yet to reach his potential.

you don't see it that way, fine. but you don't have to be an ass about it.

Sweet second round pick, please, with the new Gm's that pick will be #26 overall. 26 overall got Anthony Mason last year, Larry Hughes was 23rd overall. Don't act like the clippers second round pick is that big of a deal. It could be argued that Turkoglu and Hughes combined have a lot more potential on this game than Anderson and Williams combined. Douglas would be the PG you want. It's not like there will be any better PG's available in the draft at #26.

If I were you, I wouldn't do the trade, but I wouldn't act like a total jackass and pretend the 26th pick in the draft is really worth that much.
