not sure about giving away a pick, as i will always lose a solid player in the draft and will need the pick

    BGM,

Not that Eddie Jones is really "on the trading block", but I am willing to listen to offers for the guy. Starting for me, he averaged 21 pts, 4 reb, 4 asst, and 2-3 steals a game. He is as good an all-around 2 guard as there is in the game, but it would take more than Miles and LaFrentz to get him.

Make me an offer, you never know.

    Smeg,

What kind of scrubs do you have?

Maybe Miles for Mercer+IR scrub that will never get any playing time

Just out of curiosity, BGM. What is Mile's natural position? I ask because I am definetely interested in this trade... Do you happen to have any draft picks that might be a little higher up? I imagine the Jazz pick will be near the bottom.

I've got the Mavs 1st pick, hehe. I have no clue which pick would be higher...

    Miles is a small forward...

I'm still leaning towards Crisco's deal though...

But do you have two young star calibre players to offer with the picks?

Well, go ahead and make me an offer, Heath. To anyone who is interested, I got 4-5 hours of sleep last night, so today would probably be the day to screw me over in a trade. [IMG]

If you decide to trade payton. How about this:

    Houston
    Taylor
    Cleaves

    Payton
    Swift
your 2nd round pick 3rd year

for Spree, Grant? You're not biting on the Bibby trade? Hmm interesting offer(if it's for me [IMG] ). I'll contemplate while I'm out. I'm going to see the Mummy in a few minutes.

BTW I started Nash against Sonics and he produced good numbers as a starter:

    22 pts & 7 ast

And he also saw to it that I won that game even if I had Payton, Bibby and Cambyin streetclothes. I don't know who you had playing Raven, but it better have not been your best outfit. [IMG]

    BGM,

If you read the paragraph I wrote for you you will see that I had no choice but to make a big move. either I could return this year with the championship lineup from last year MINUS fortson and kukoc. replaced by 2 players that were destined to be of lower quality.
so I instead improved my PF spot as well as my SF spot. lost some debth, and lost slightly in the center department(i think) but i made a quick fix. i would have miles starting as SF instead of marshall, and i would rather have his 10 boards over miles 7. also malone gets 4 more pts and 2 more assists than McDyce did. so it all comes down to fortsons 13pts/11boards vs whatever my 2 centers can bring. I feel as though i did a good job sacraficing the future for the present. but after this season its time for a SERIOUS REBUILD.!!!!!

PEACE, and see ya in the western confrence semis [IMG]
hope all that juicy trade bait serves you as well as it did me

No need to defend the trade VOR, we both benefited from it, I got rid of my dinosaurs and you added a hall of famer to the defending champions.

It was a good deal for both sides...

BTW Crisco, I'm still leaning towards your trade offer...
