no, not really. The only reason I'm interested in a 2nd round pick at all is because Pued's may be a relatively high 2nd rounder. I anticipate my pick not being incredibly lower than his, hence why I don't want to exchange picks to just move up a few notches. How about your rookie pick instead of the 2nd rounder? ------------------ snap crackle pop
The east wasnt that deep last year so with all the improvement Puedl has signed up in Boston I think he can actually compete for a fith seed out east. Of course I have Nets going higher (even if they were 6th last season), maybe even getting the top seed out east, but don't expect a lottery pick from puedl. I expect even if no more GM's sign up (after Gettinbranded as I expect him totake the challenge) that this pick will fall in the 7th-10th range in the round. Then you can even have new sign-ups, if not this season then likely next. And after reading what you said I see you agree Crisco ------------------ Join the CC.net NBA Sim ------------------------- The CC.net NBA Sim Homepage -Rosters & Stats - Official Trades
Am I correct in stating that no GM is interested in an extremely young and talented 18.3 pts and 4 assts per game Shooting Gaurd/Small Forward/Point Gaurd??? Has that gone out of style? ------------------ The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. I would be willing to part with my rookie pick... Nomar, I'm somewhat interested in Peterson. ------------------ All work and no play makes Band Geek Mobster a dull boy. Just an update on my trading thoughts: Payton is all but off the table, he could go if I get a deal with Castor for MoTay, Houston and Cleaves going. The deal talked about earlier is still open for adjustment from my part to get you a PF back Castor but I likely will not deal Payton before preseason has ended anyway. (Of course other simular deals for Payton could just as easily be done - perhaps easy isnt the right word ). More likely is it that I move Bibby or Nash for the deals thought about earlier. I'm still thinking about both MoPete and Sprewell. I have a request to Cat for a bigger statline on both Spree and Houston (deal over) before I can decide anything. Of course I do not expect you to wait for me to decide what I want to do (as I could end up just keeping my team intact). Just letting you know that my interest is still there. ------------------ Join the CC.net NBA Sim ------------------------- The CC.net NBA Sim Homepage - Rosters & Stats - Official Trades [This message has been edited by Heath2000 (edited May 10, 2001).]
Ok I will look at your roster and post a trade idea. I am in no hurry either. There hasn't seemed to be a lot of interest lately in Houston anyway so It will probably not happen til after preseason anyway. I may come up with and Idea that doesn't require a PF. I plan on trying Ben Wallace at PF so I may not need one I may look at C instead. CK ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
Nomar, I am sure many are interested in Peterson, just not in the price. For right now, most are looking to get some role players, 10th-12th men. Look for more takers about 5-7 games into the season, when some are unhappy with their teams. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
Nomar, I was thinking back to your offer for Payton. That would basically been you buying the championship this year and bolting Man what a lineup: PG: Payton SG: Iverson SF: Reef PF: KG C: Fortson Not so big bench though so I guess all your guys would have to give you around 40 mins. ------------------ Join the CC.net NBA Sim ------------------------- The CC.net NBA Sim Homepage - Rosters & Stats - Official Trades

BGM, I thought you wanted to wait til preseason was over? Lafrentz + Miles + Vaughn + rookie pick for Spree, Brian Grant? ------------------ snap crackle pop
Man Crisco, this is what happens when Cat doesn't run any sim, I get the trade bug. I like the deal you offer, but I'm going to see what kind of deals I can work out with Smeg and Nomar for Mercer and Peterson respectively. ------------------ All work and no play makes Band Geek Mobster a dull boy.
