Best Acquisition has to be the Wolves getting Camby, Brand, and Dickerson... I thought it was a really even trade, but the Wolves have been on fire since then. The All NBA first team will be announced after the season along with MVP, etc. I will post them here.

As for who I think are title contenders-- Portland obviously with that great record. Great starters and a good bench as well. Utah and Dallas are both great with solid all around teams, but the team I'd be looking out for is Minnesota. They have absolutely been on fire since the KG trade, and they can probably beat anyone right about now. My Rockets have also been very hot lately, but I doubt it'll continue against the Blazers in the first. In the East, it looks like a three team race between the Sixers, Bucks, and Raps. Also-- to those of you in lower seeds-- in previous seasons on the sim low seeds do have a chance at advancing, so don't think you can't win.

Didn't get too wild. You didn't pick any upsets at all...

I think the first round won't have any upsets, but the second round is where the upsets will occur.

I predict the Blazers will lose to the hot T-Wolves and the Jazz will beat the Mavs.

I'm not just picking the Jazz over the Mavs b/c I'm the GM. I can count 2 wins against the Mavs this season so that's at least a 2-2 season split.

Also the wolves have been really hot so that's why I think they'll take the Blazers.

Of course now that I've said this I've jinxed my team.

True, but I just meant that I spent a little longer doing this side. Since I haven't ever played a sim on 2001, I don't know how often the low-seeded teams advance. Also, The Blazers, Mavs, and Jazz have such great records and overall talent, that I don't see anyone beating them, other than themselves. Then I just predicted my win over the Spurs, because of late, the team has done okay(And I'm just being optimistic)

    And mine.

I've moved into the 5th spot.

Oh well, actually I wish i could have moved into the 6th spot(If i get past the first round, the second round won't be against Blazers, I would still have to play the Mavs or Sonics though)

HEY!!!!! Give me a break Cat. I was building for the future with the Garnett trade. I needed a ultrastar as part of my 5 year plan. LOL. (seriously though, how was i supposed to know)

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

    Oh We'll see. We'll see.

    the "Puppies" finished 18-2

    Your Jazz finished 16-3.

    For the sake of analysis:

C-Camby vs. Lafrentz. Pretty even Camby on "D", Lafrentz on the other side

PF-Brand vs Malone. Malone, but Brand is right up there with him. 21, 10 night in and night out

SF-Wally vs Marshall. I'm not sure because I don't know how Marshall has played on the Sim. Wally has put up 14, 5, 5 averages

    SG-McGrady vs Jackson. T-Mac

    PG-Brandon vs Williams. Brandon, 18 ppg 9apg

Bench-Billups, Dickerson, Ellis, Googs vs. Jackson, Starks, Lewis, and Coleman. I give the edge to the Wolves. Dickerson is putting up 18 ppg a night himself. Ellis is also playing well.

Personally I think I stand just as good a chance as Your Jazz do(Maybe better)

    See you in the playoffs(Maybe)

Hey it will work out Nomar. If you look across the leader boards, you see KG's name what 3 or 4 times?

You got your superstar(even though you already had two in Brand and Abdur-Rahim) and I acquired the depth I needed.

My playoff predictions(Based on Current records)-

    East-

1 Bucks vs 8 Pistons-Bucks, Sleeper team of the whole league. Most don't expect a good team coming out of the East.
2 Sixers vs 7 Wizards-Sixers, Iverson, Nuff Said
3 Raptors vs 6 Nets-Raptors, Made good acquisitions to acquire depth
4 Pacers vs 5 Knicks-Knicks, No Rose, No Miller, No Oneal...How did they make it here?

    West(Where it gets wild)-
1 Blazers vs 8 Rockets-Blazers. With three losses all season, they seem unbeatable in a five-game series. But the Rockets have been playing well of late and have a good starting 5

2 Mavs vs 7 Sonics-Mavs, Again a good team with minus-ten losses will always be tough

3 Jazz vs 6 Lakers-Jazz, A team with a good "4" and very deep with guys like Marshall

4 Wolves vs 5 Spurs-Wolves(Hopefully), My team has played well of late and hopefully can pull out a win here.

    East-
1 Bucks vs 5 Knicks-Bucks, On its way to the ECF

2 Sixers vs 3 Raptors- Sixers With Iverson, Marion, Etc. This is a tough team

    West-
1 Blazers vs 4 Wolves-Blazers, This team is too good, too deep, too strong

2 Mavs vs 3 Jazz- Mavs, Finley, Kidd, Dice too much

    East-
1 Bucks vs 2 Sixers-Sixers, an upset here with Clutch players like Iverson, Marion, Howard, Mutumbo, and Snow/Nash.

    West

1 Blazers vs 2 Mavs-Blazers move on to the finals

    Finals

2 Sixers vs 1 Blazers-Blazers, They will probably lose more games in the playoffs than they do all season(Playing a less dilluted league), But the Blazers will probably pull through.
