There's no way they trade Love to us, he's their cornerstone as of right now and whether they play him the full 48 or 2 minutes he'll still be the best player on that team.

    Secret attempt to get Rubio....

DM "Well dang, Kahn, what if I give you that for Rubio then?"

Kahn "Now you are talking Daryl"

DM -under his breath " YES !"

I'm not sure if we have anything to offer that the T-Wolves want.

Last time I checked the T-Wolves wanted to rebuild. You don't trade your "bet for future" for a bunch of mediocre players who will probably just be as good as they are when you want to rebuild.

Again, I'm not their GM, I never know.

Why would they trade us Kevin Love?

They might finish with a better record than us without Rubio.

I do like Rubio, but I don't know if he will be as good as some think he will.

What I really like Chuck is the chance to get a possible elite level talent.

We have to take some swings at players by hook or by crook.

It is why I wanted Whiteside instead of Patterson.....in the draft, not that Patterson was not better now, but that Whiteside was an athletic 7 footer with a gigantic wingspan and good overall game.

A shot blocking big......who has massive upside potential.

We need to take BIGGER risks ...

At this point, what do we have to lose. Right?

Major upside just means he sucks in more areas than he's good at.......I cant stand the word "upside" when scouting players....Most of em are who they are , when you get down into the 15-30 range in the draft...They get drafted to better teams and can sit and learn...Thats the damn upside!!!!.....Hell Olowokandi had so much upside until he couldnt have any upside left....Most of these players games dont transform into NBA play.....But I agree with the statement "WE NEED TO TAKE BIGGER RISKS" instead of this wait patiently for this team to gel approach........I've lost interest in these clown azz players we have....We couldnt stop Duke right now

I agree with you on this. Gotta take some risks...

I just wanted to vent on one thing though... I'm sooo sick and tired of seeing Portland in the mix when Houston's name is being thrown out in a trade rumor... It's like anything Houston does, Portland tries to join in. Pisses me off.

As for trading for Love, I wouldn't be against it but they already have scola. Love can't play center. He's an awesome talent and I think he'll only get better.

I would love for them to make a move for Rubio though. Not saying they should give up the farm for him but I think he'll be a special talent.

Kahn is a jackass. He probably wouldn't trade Darko if we offered him Luis. Morey has been trying to get at him for some time but Kahn just like hand to yo face.

I love Kevin Love. Speaking of upside: Anthony Randolph. Both of these guys are power forwards, really. With the gradual downsizing and speeding-up of the game, though, the true center position might be extinct. So maybe we should put that Jordan Hill kid to work! You hear me, Rick?

    Yes!!!

Get Brooks outta here. It's Been said they been looking for a pg.
Give them 2 ny picks. And I dunno.

But this is a good start

    Aaron Brooks
    2 n.y picks

    for

    rights to rubio
    Kevin love

what else can we add to make this work? Anyone?
    But make it realistic

I would give up anyone on this roster for these two guys. Except for Martin, IMO he is untouchble unless we trade for a sg or sf.

Trading Brooks and picks for Love and Rubio is far from being realistic
