That was a poor excuse for a 1st half. The Mavs are playing worse than yesterday. Josh Howard is the only one who came to play. But I can't imagine the Cavs pulling out this game. With a decent effort, they would lead by 15-20 points.

And LeBron plays comedian with Sager during the interview. Red shoes.

Cavs games seem to be synonymous w/ ugly games. I just got in and didn't get to see the first half, but the half time show tells me it's still the same.

BTW, I didn't realize Lebron was also 8th in the league in assists. I'm sure the Lebron haters will attribute that to his great supporting cast. Like Hughes stellar 32% FG.

A_3PO, for someone who isn't "interested in the Mavs at all," you sure do watch a lot of games ;)

When TNT shows 2 out of the 3 games playing, there is no choice. Last night, I toggled between Mavs/Jazz and Celts/Kings. The Mavs/Jazz interested me because I wanted to see if the Jazz would continue their swoon, which they did. The only reason they won was because the Mavs were terrible, especially Jet. When I watch the Mavs it's because of the team they are playing or there is no other game to watch.

Devin Harris is really overrated, I'm glad the Mavericks are going to be stuck giving him a long term deal soon. I don't see him ever adapting the mentality of a playmaker, he's just a speedy guy who almost always dribbles to nowhere. Watching him handle the ball is almost the polar opposite of Steve Nash, panicky dribbling in circles always looking for a bail out. Of course he can torch Houston's PGs, but everyone can.

What an awful game. The Mavs need to trade for Jason Kidd. That team in it's current form might have run it's course. But it's a long season so maybe they will hit stride at the right time. Look at the Spurs last season.

The Cavs were awful too. They beat the Heat because the Heat is a dead team walking and they won tonight because the Mavs didn't show up to play. These last two wins shouldn't even count. They are still slumping.

On Devin Harris, just force him to his left and he can't finish with his left hand. When you force him left, his only recourse is to run into the defender to draw a foul or to dish. Somebody needs to bait him, then pull out the chair and Harris would break his face on the floor.

Very fortunate that the Mavs were missing shots left and right. I'll take a win over a WC team any way we can get it.

That dunk by lebron with a minute left in the game was SICK. I mean he split two defenders from the perimeter and took it hard to the hole and gave stackhouse (i think) a facial. I mean that just smart basketball, the mavs were within 6 I believe and lebron didnt even risk giving them a chance to get back in the game, he took straight to the hole with authority. At the very least he would have gotten a foul there. Talk about basketball IQ. The guy just keeps getting to damn good. I truly believe by the end of his career he will end up being one of the three best players to ever play the game.

It's very possible considering he is only 22. It looks like playing next to Kobe and Kidd over the summer showed him what it takes to be the ultimate competitor. He looks like he is playing to win but, in MJ fashion, also looking to destroy and demoralize people. It's really nice to watch.

Replace "Rockets" with "Cavs," and the Mavs win.
