You don't just get fouls off drives. No fast break fouls? And I know Brandon Jennings drives. And they have a BIG center named ANDREW BOGUT.
Hey Milwaukee, when you smack the taste out of the overrated Hawks' mouths...this is what you will see. Remember 2001, Bucks fans...you'll get robbed again.
On average, an NBA team will get 24.5 free throw attempts per game. The Bucks average only 20.5 free throws a game, and allow 27 free throws a game. The Cavs average 26.2 free throws a game, and allow 23.5 free throws per game. So, the Cavs' numbers (on the season) are closer to league average than the Bucks. Based on the above info, in matchups between the two teams I'd expect the Cavs to get 29 free throws and the Bucks to get 20 free throws on average. So, 45-9 isn't quite as crazy a disparity as you may think.
Not as big a FT disparity (34-17), but the Celts had the same complaint against the Thunder tonight. KD shot and made 15 FTs all by himself.
What do you expect the NBA to do when they're reffing a game with Lebron James in it.. they always rig it
Did you mean the OP or knote32? LOL. One team getting 500% the FTs of the other is like, what... a five-sigma event?
Can see what you're getting at. Can count on the Cavs getting more FTS going on. Overall I dont quite agree that it isnt that crazy. If Kevin Durant averages 29 pts and Joe Johnson averages 21 pts, then after the game Durant has 45 pts and Joe Johnson 9. Then see Durant has 20 FTs to Johnson's 2 - no matter how the actual flow of the game went people are going to say "DURANT OWNED Joe Johnson". Because FTs involves subjective officiating, it makes people wonder especially when its an entire team total and not a head to head total like the example
