And the Nuggets beat the Lakers at the same time. Many fans say we have no chance to defeat the Lakers or the Spurs. What do you think?

The Rockets and Spurs are a toss up...the Lakers ......that depends on the chemistry the rest of the year....

We have the horses now, and the tempo....punk the naysayers cause they don't know a thing.

I think we won't be blown out even we don't have T-Mac and Artest.

I'm going to continue to say it, the Lakers without Bynum are not unbeatable AT ALL especially with the way Scola and Yao have been playing.

The Spurs didn't have Manu or Duncan so the loss doesn't really mean much.

but that's proven to've been a gain for us.. not a loss.. same can't be said in the Spurs' case..

    Agree.
I think we don't have matchup problem with the Spurs and the Lakers. The team i worried about is still the Jazz.

The only way we see the Spurs or Lackers in the playoffs is if we see them in the first round. W/out SuperMac, we are just another Sacramento.

Jazz have scrappy 4s that can compete with the NBA's best scrappy 4 and one of the best 4s Luis Scola. We can shut done Deron but Milsap, Brewer and etc are always active. Those guys will make the difference. Okur is just a fluke when Yao was still recovering from a serious fracture. I'm sure Yao will toast that Okur and then some this time around. Scola has to be real scrappy cuz Landry aint quite smart enough. Luis + Hayes are best scrappy tough guys in the paint.

Call me hopeful, but I think with the emergence of Milsap, Boozer's production will take a dip. I think if the Rockets can play that defense they have been as of late the sky is the limit. I want to see Yao with the two extra years of experience can do to Utah's frontline. As much as Deron Williams has given us fits, Aaron Brooks will present problems for the slower Williams. I dont see Houston running into Utah in the first round though.

I'm afraid of the jazz to be honest. Sloan always knows every little secret to exploiting our defense...and will do it ad nausea until we show him we can stop it.

Hopefully the Jazz play the Lakers or Spurs in the first round and that will be the end of them.

No fear, this team is better defensively and better offensively.

The Jazz? Sure bring em on.....whomever, the Wrecking ball is coming and it's name is Houston Rockets.

The Spurs have Tony Parker and that's about it. For right now its hope tony can score 40 plus or we don't have a chance time.

If we continue to play the type of defense we're playing now, we can beat anyone.
