Cavs officials are confident of two things now, multiple sources say: Chris Bosh won't play for them next season, but LeBron James will. Bosh has long made it clear that he doesn't want to play in Cleveland, and LeBron knew it was a longshot to sell him on it. http://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA
Looks like a lot of things could happen in this situation. LBJ to Cleveland Wade/Bosh to Miami LBJ to Cleveland Wade to Miami Bosh to Chicago LBJ to Cleveland Wade to Chicago/Miami Bosh to Houston As the media has done before, the Bulls would have to do S&T's to get both of these guys the full max deals like they want, which would be extremely tough to do without giving up a key guy like Noah. This is why if LeBron stays our chances improve dramatically.
if lebron stays in cleveland, i think the door is open for wade in chicago. if wade goes to the bulls, i'm not sure that the raps can work a S&T that both teams can agree on. if they cant work something out, the next best option for him is houston.
It was reported that Miami doesn't have the players that Toronto is interested in. Far from a done deal imo..
Actually, you are pretty much right. If Wade goes to Chicago then Toronto will demand Noah and Miami has nothing they want...Amazing stuff really. Wake me up when he makes his dam mind up though, fustrating to say the least.
If this was coming from anybody else, I would still say it's all just conjecture, but Woj is probably the most trusty-worthy source on breaking news, so I'll take it to be true. So this was one of the dominoes that needed to fall in Houston's favor in order for us to get Bosh.....now it's just a matter of Toronto playing hard ball with Chicago and Miami as to what they want from them.
Bosh won't go to Chicago by himself in my opinion. So, theoretically it is between us and Miami, although Chicago could pull off the miracle and complete 2 S&T's, which would almost be impossible.
If the Raptors insist on Noah in a sign & trade, I think the Bulls will turn their attention to Boozer. They can get him for less than the max, they don't have to worry about a sign & trade, and they don't have to give up a core player like Noah.
I think it will end up being Bosh&Wade in Miami. Best case scenario for us would be if Wade signs in Chicago, making it complicated for the Bulls to do a s&t with Toronto.
And it makes the most sense (Boozer to Chicago with Wade). I think the Cavs should try and talk with the Knicks about a sign and trade for David Lee. The Knicks would probably welcome it.
Even though he wants to pair up with Wade, I can't see it happening. Wade won't give up $30MM to play in Chicago (and no way does Riley S&T) so that eliminates Chicago. Miami only makes sense if they do a S&T and Bosh gets his FULL max. For that to happen, roster would be completely decimated and Bosh would have to play Center. Not going to happen.
