Cause and effect to the whipping.

    Plain and simple, the long jumpers we take.

    Offensively, is screws us over. No easy baskets, just 20 ft fadeaways. We won't score much with the shots we took today.

    Defensively, these bricks tend to be long rebounds, that if rebounded by the Nugs, they have a head start for fast breaks.

    Like I said before the game, the key was dictating the tempo. We want a slowed down game while Den wants a track meet.

    To slow the game down, the last thing you want is low percentage shots, giving the other team a higher chance of pushing it up the floor.

    If we're going to miss shots, let's miss closer shots, which don't lead to fastbreaks in a jiffy.
