So here at work, we are planning to go do a psychic reading as a group for fun. A co-worker of mine talked about this guy that is very famous. People wait in line hours before he opens and his readings are free of charge but you can also leave a donation.

His name is... CAU CHIN (Uncle 9) off of Boone/Bellaire.

So has any one here have ever been? Please share your story.

If you've been to a pyschic/fortune reading other than him, please tell your story as well.

I am going to ask him when the rockets will win a championship again. :p

Lol, Uncle 9 has changed locations like 35 times because of tax evasion charges. That guy is a hoot when you see him though. Some of the stuff he says is shockingly astute, while it seems like sometimes he just says stuff to see if you'll react. I went to him way back when I was in high school with a few friends, and it was a pretty fun experience just for the novelty of it. There are some people who swear by the stuff he tells them though.....they literally live their lives by it.

I've been to him before and found out a lot of things. he is very accurate in what he says, and in fact he brought tears to my eyes. A lot of people go to him and expect him to tell you about your futures and so on, but he also tells you about your past, things you never thought anybody else would know. If you and your co workers are doing this for fun, or any of your co workers are making a mockery of it, chances are he probably wont see you. Some of my friends who went there to try and get a hoot eventually got sent back or away.

Is this the guy that honed his foresight skills as a kid with some monks in Thailand and he speaks like 7 languages? My folks saw some well known fortune teller in Htown that moved around a lot. He predicted correctly that my family would move away from Htown in the near future (my dad ended up getting laid off a few months after his prediction and we had to relocate). He also knew my parents' Chinese zodiac animals off the bat. Other things he predicted did not come true. I refuse to go see him with my parents cuz I don't want to know my future.

Psychics make me sad, they prey on the bereaved and sell made up memories of loved ones.

JREF offers a million dollar reward for any psychic who can prove their "gift" under controlled conditions.

As yet funnily enough no psychic has been able to prove the product that they sell is real.

I'll save you the trouble and give everyone a reading right now...

People close to you have been taking advantage of you. Your basic honesty has been getting in your way. Many opportunities that you have had offered to you in the past have had to be surrendered because you refuse to take advantage of others. You like to read books and articles to improve your mind. In fact, if you're not already in some sort of personal service business, you should be. You have an infinite capacity for understanding people's problems and you can sympathize with them. But you are firm when confronted with obstinacy or outright stupidity. Law enforcement would be another field you understand. Your sense of justice is quite strong.

Let me know how I did.
