Wow, is it just me or did Cato have 5 blocks tonight. Now that is an inside prescence. When he came in withe subs in the 2nd quarter he was huge defensivly gives the Roxs an unexpected lift off of the bench. I am glad to see he is doing better. p.s. that was an awesome dunk to bounce in shot. They had to show it twice on sportscenter tonight. Go Cato. ------------------ "I move for no man." --"So be it." It seemed like the flow of the game changed toward the Rockets when Cato & KT came of the bench in the first half. Cato blocked some shots and KT went right at Fizer AND Brand. That's the kind of bench play which is needed for playoffs and beyond. I've always been a supporter of Cato. I think his Mom was right when she told him "Kelvin, leave those ref's alone"! Now we need for her to say "Kelvin, bring your A game everynight"......(reply) "Yes, Mom". ------------------ GATER
I hope he continues to play as well as he did last night... IT WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE ROCKETS TO TRADE HIM!! ------------------
Don't get too excited. Cato was playing against his Iowa State coach last night. Cato has an annoying way of trying to impress others on singular nights rather than trying to impress Rudy all the time. Rudy got his one game against Cleveland. Now all Cato's big nights are to impress others.
Hopefully, he'll try to impress someone each game from now on. (Ex. Rockets fans) [This message has been edited by rock (edited March 01, 2001).]
The way he measured up that dunk to bounce off the rim, kiss the ceiling, and drop in hitting nothing but net was sheer brilliance. Monster jam, Cato!!! Did you read his quote in the Chronicle when he implied he left from the free throw line? That was hilarious. ------------------ Founding Father of the Refs Suck Club
MAybe that dunk-turned-miracle was a sign!!! The basketball gods are smiling on Cato! ------------------ "Segregation is an absolutely horrid practice - except when it comes to numbers and letters. I just don't think they should be mixed." - P. Mesku on his dislike of algebra
5 blocks is nice. 2 points is not.... and those two points were a gift from God . ------------------ Boston College - Big East -East Division Regular Season Champs Worst to First in 2001!
