I think we should trade Cato to the Clips. I think they Need Someone who can hang with all there young Players, Miles, Etc. Will ship Cato our 13th pick, and maybe a future second for there lottery pick and Maybe take Oloakandi off there hands. Then the Clips still can get Big Zach at the 13th pick. ------------------ Remember The Lakers kept Hacking Larry Smith to the Line and he could'nt knock the free thorws down during the playoffs?
A worse player and a worse pick for a better player and a better pick. I wish! ------------------ www.swirve.com "Pre-born, you're fine, pre-school, you're f*****."-George Carlin
Donald Sterling lucked out by getting a bunch of "low-paid" 1st and 2nd year players. When those contracts come due for extensions, he'll rotate'em out and start again. He sure won't pay Cato. I wish he would though. ------------------
Any trade that involves shipping Cato's overpaid, underproductive ass the hell out of Houston is wonderful in my book. I would jump for joy to see him go to the Clips. ------------------ "I may be mistaken, but I'm never wrong" -Barkley
Though its debatable who is the better player, at least Kandi doesn't seem to be the lazy, narcisstic slacker that Cato has been made out to be. I guess we could hope that if the Clippers decide they need to get rid of Kandi, and they want to look like they got something for the #1 overall pick, they might trade for Cato, who at least would be stuck in LA for 5 or 6 more years than Kandi. At least we can hope..... How about Cato to the Clipps for Kandi and we take the crappy Derrick Strong contract to balance out the crappy Cato contract? The problem with trading Cato this offseason, is that he's going to be a full base-year player up until the middle of traning camp, if I'm not mistaken. ------------------
We will be under the cap when we deal with Hakeem's contract so that will remove BYC from Cato's contract. Ain't life grand? ------------------
otto, you really think Cato is narcissistic ? I think he may be the polar opposite of that. ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? How about Cato to Milwaukee for 5 free passes to the tour of the brewery out there? They give samples!! That's a steal. I doubt the Bucks would go for it though. 2 reasons 1. Anybody who would buy the pimp-mobile described in another thread isn't a shy person. and 2. Every recient Cato story has described someone who believes that they are a great player(stuff like him calling himself a a "feared defensive presence", and saying that the problem with the Rockets was the guard play, etc.). He firmly maintains a self-image which is out of line with reality and insists on blaming his (or in this case his team's) failures on others. This is classic narcassism as I remember it from my Abnormal Psychology class. A shy, self-reproaching type player would realise in Cato's position that he was the problem and either sulk, be depressed, and hide from the world, or (preferably) put in extra work to do something about it.
