I thought Cato has been a nice defensive prescence in some games and a burden offensively in others. Overall, he is decent, but he is a matchup type player and therefore is difficult to start every game imho..... BUT, with all that said, we sorely missed him in recent games. Especially last night and against Minnesota. These were matchups where his prescence in the paint on both ends would have helped tremendously....those second chance points killed us last night and his prescence would have thwarted half of those I bet...also, his ability to take on some players in the paint, would have played in our favor..... So, I am okay if we labor into the playoffs knowing that we are being sure Cato is good to go, but please let this be the case...I hope he is ready in the next 2 weeks....I think we may need him before then....
I have to admit, Cato is needed...He can't do jack for offense and can't hit a free throw to save his own life, but his presence in the middle helps out Yao...
