Yeah Yeah. I am no fan of Cato, but we needed him tomorrow. KT, Tmo, Maurice, and Glen Rice were already out. Now Cato is out. Tomorrow's lineup: Yao Griffin Nachbar Mobley Steve I guess the future is now. The bench is going to be might thin with Collier, Pete Michael and Moochie?
Holy JEEBUS! No Cato No Rice No Taylor No Thomas No Morris So, the guys playing tomorrow are... Yao/Collier Griffin Nachbar Mobley/Hawkins Francis/Norris ??? Aye!!!
It's not a Cato thing. It's a depth thing. I'd much rather see Yao play, but considering his conditioning is not at its peak, he's a rookie and he's been literally playing non-stop for 3 years, it would be nice if he could get a breather! Plus, no real back up at power forward (I guess we know now why we have the glut at that position) unless you count Collier and one guy to back up both the three and the four and he's a guy who's never played in the NBA before! I'll say it again...
Mild sprain of the patellar tendon. He will likely be back Friday but for sure game #3. Kenny Thomas is supposed to be back on Friday.
So we'll have 2 rookies starting??? Man are we gonna be using that small line up like a mofo. On a lighter note, we'll also see a lot of career highs.
Hopefully, its a 24 hr. bug? I never thought I would want so desperately to see Cato on the floor, but we can't be that thin on the front court, stay out of foul trouble, and still win....can we??
Allright! Rice is back for tommorrow! That will atleast give us a little depth at the three. KT back for friday is even better news though, since he can play the 3 or 4 I can finally exhale!
What made me think that we were going to start out the year with everyone healthy? oh, i know! pre-season blind optimism...that's what! and now, back to reality.
Jermaine O'Neal isn't suspended. Howard is suspended for throwing at O'Neal and Bender. By the way Indiana is as banged up as we are so depth is a problem for them to.
