    I don't know if this is true or not but I heard from a friend of mine who met "Cat" at ESPN ZONE, "Cat" told him that he wanted to play for the Dallas Mavericks. Anyone know anything about this?

    yep. Cat did mention something about running it in their butts, then having some tea and bagels. sounds like a trade demand to me.

    Cat AND Cato for Brian Grant? Forget to throw in Yao and the keys to the Toyota Center?

    But you're right, if Miami is looking for anything, it's a perimeter player like Mobley. They don't have anybody who can fulfill that role.....

    I've been checking my sources and Dallas and Houston are in trade negotiations with Mobley being the main component in the trade. Right now the deal looks something like this:

    Dallas trades: PF Dirk Nowitzki (25.1 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 3.0 apg in 39.0 minutes)
    PF Danny Fortson (3.5 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 0.7 apg in 13.1 minutes)
    Dallas receives: PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 20.6 minutes)
    SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 41.7 minutes)
    PG Moochie Norris (4.3 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 2.4 apg in 16.8 minutes)
    Change in team outlook: +1.6 ppg, -4.6 rpg, and +2.6 apg.

    Houston trades: PF Maurice Taylor (8.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 20.6 minutes)
    SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg in 41.7 minutes)

    They wont be able to complete the trade til around the 18th though because Fortson was recently traded.

    Jimmy Jackson / Pike
    SF / Maloney / Mooch

    More as I hear it, right now I gotta go sniff some glue.
