    WORD!!!

It is a shame posters like ZRB and others try to ignore threads like this one for their own convenience. try to let it slip all the way down to the bottom. well ya know what I am gonna put it right where the Rockets were tonight. Back on top of the stack where it belongs. [IMG]

Yeah, Cat had a great game. It doesn't make up for some of the last second heaves that have cost the Rockets previous games. I did NOT deliberatley ignore this. I just didn't really care.

Of course when Jack has a good game, people forget about his 2-50 shooting in the last two.

Enjoy, folks. Then, when he goes 3-17, shoots with people all over him everytime he touches the ball and b****es to the refs on every shot next week, please come back to the BBS and celebrate that also.

    Have a nice day! [IMG]

I don't think ZRB knows what he is talking about. CAT is the next super-duper star. A scoring machine. AND he may be the next best thing to sliced bread!

The opposite is true to Almu. When Cat has a BAD game, people quickly forget the GOOD games, and immediately say he hasn't matured and want him traded for front court help. As for his "b****ing" to referees, Clyde Drexler used to CONSTANTLY complain to officials. In fact an official had a grudge with him. Of course that is conveniently forgotten.

Can you say anything good about Jack er I mean Cuttino? He had a great game. Give him his props. And when has he gone 2-50 or 3-17?

I didn't like Drexler whining either.

But, lets be fair. Cats bad games outweighs the few good shooting, good all-around games he has. He can average 50 points and shoot 10-37 somewhere else. Here, he has people who can help carry the load. He doesn't need to be that type of player.

If he can just be smarter in his shot selection, you won't have to hear from me about his game. Until then,

Almu, I don't remember you being so negative.

Cat is far from perfect, and he certainly has some maturing to do, but he's made so much improvement since being selected late in the second round. His shot selection isn't always the best, but then again, his teammates effort to get open for the dish isn't always the best either.

I'm disappointed that you can't find anything good to say about him, but at least you don't disappear like Tod or Dreamshake after games like last night--when you don't have a leg to stand on while dissing him.

He has only shot 3-17 or worse percentage once in his entire career. He is not Larry Hughes.

    You don't know Jack* Almu.

Since he has been going without sleep raising a new baby. He's really only half awake when he posts here, lately. Forgive his lack of reason.

Almu, you say that Cat's good shooting games don't outweigh his bad shooting games.

Currently, Cat is shooting 43.5% on field goals. For a shooting guard, this is perfectly acceptable. So how can you say that his bad games outweigh his good ones, when, overall, his shooting looks fine?

Almu--your comments are lame and they have no basis in fact. Mobley is shooting 43.4% from the field. Compare that to Francis at 45%--not that big a difference. Consider that many of Mobley's bad shooting nights came while he was playing with an injured left arm. How many games have you watched this year?

Let me tell you what's so incredible about this guy. He's in his 2nd year playing shooting guard in the NBA. He was a 2nd round draft pick. He's undersized at his position. He's averaging almost 20 points and 5 boards a game on a decent team! That is just amazing. What will you be saying when his shooting percentage is the same as Francis? Look at the facts, Almu, come on! We have probably an All-Star next year and a good young kid here, and you're dogging him. What gives?

    Cuttino had a great game.
    He is a fine player.
    I like him alot.
I hope he is a Rocket for a long time.
He seems like a nice guy.
You might call me a fan of Cuttino's.

And 'Jack' is still the most hilarious nickname for that dude ever. It has already stuck.

    GO GET 'EM, JACK!

Guess what? Mobley has only taken about 40 or so more shots then Francis YET Francis is only shooting about 1% higher then Cat. I think some people are so used to ragging on Cat that they fail to see his improvement and good games. Not all people, just the people who only post something about Cat when he has a bad game, or get down on him when he has a GOOD game!
