From Dark Horizons.com X-Men 2: The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Ethan Embry has scored the role of 'Nightcrawler', the teleporting blue-skinned mutant in the upcoming "X-Men" sequel. 'Nightcrawler' and 'Pyro' are the only new mutants in the next chapter, 'Pyro' was also recently cast with newcomer Aaron Stanford ("Tadpole") scoring the part. Embry's most well known role so far was as the lead in teen comedy "Can't Hardly Wait", but has built a surprisingly large career with roles in the likes of "White Squall", "That Thing You Do", "Disturbing Behavior" and the TV series "Freakylinks". Shooting is scheduled to begin soon in Vancouver with script revisions currently underway. Not too bad of a casting although I am kinda against with the whole young casting (Mardesen as Cyclops, Paquin as Rogue). I wanted to see Gambit in this movie, but oh wellz, maybe in the next one. Also, if click to check out Dark Horizons, check out the story of Star Wars. Apparently, Natalie Portman is going to shoot some scenes to stick in the DVD version of Return of the Jedi. VERY INTERESTING.
