    Thundercats Updated:

Wednesday 26th February 2003: Thundercats Update:
News has reached us that development was moving on the Thundercats movie by writer Ben Trebilcook who wrote a 15 page treatment for a planned trilogy of movies. The plot centred on a flee from Thundera, that was in self-destruct and also under attack by the Mutants and their landing on Third Earth, subsequently defending themselves from The Mutants and Mumm-Ra The Ever-Living. Word was that financing was in place to direct a series of treaser to take to New Line Cinema to get the movie made. Production si currently stalled but he still wants to be involved in a possible movie.

Thundercats was badass. if you see it now, i swear it's like it's going in slow motion they talk so deliberately. but growing up, that was my cartoon. not good at stuff like this so i'll let others do the casting, just had to give props to Thundercats.

I don't know how many of you guys use Direct Connect, but it's amazing what you can find. I just ran a search for thundercats in our local A&M hub and sure enough, there are some Thundercat AVIs and MPGS. I'll have to look into these later.

The best part about Thundercat's was that it was (at least in my genre) the first cartoon to introduce and dispose of characters. I know that Soaps have been doing it for years, but this was groundbreaking stuff at the time.

It was never the best cartoon, but it certainly was an entertaining one.
