My son has got me to watching Naruto.

It is quite and interesting cartoon

Coming from a cartoon and Comic background
I know i watch more than the average person
    but
I figure everyone catches a peek at every one more again

    Batman is good to decent
the Legion of Super Heros is weak
    Fantastic Four is weak

Well not counting Simpsons, Family Guy, and King of the Hill, I would say my all time favorite was Tom and Jerry.

    Inuyasha
    Ed, Edd, and Eddy
    Venture Brothers
    Home MOvies
    Family Guy
    Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Any of the old Looney tunes. Those cartoons were the best. They just aren't the same anymore.

Cartoons I love but don't see on TV anymore:
    Animaniacs
    Pinky and the Brain
...they were all together on a show called The BIG Cartoonie show back in the late 90's.

I watch the Fox Sunday prime time shows. If I'm awake on Saturday mornings, I'll watch a bit of that new Batman cartoon.

I watch Adult Swim on Sundays (Venture Bros., Metalocalypse, Harvey Birdman, Squidbillies, Aquateen Hunger Force [season premiere was awesome], Frisky Dingo [from the Sealab guys a little slow to start but promising]. Only on Sundays though because I don't care for anime much and I've already seen every episode of Futurama and Family Guy 10 times each.

I watch Boomerang some nights, they have this block every night where they show Duck Dodgers, then Justice League, and then Batman TAS. If there are any good Looney Toons on, I'll usually watch that as well.

BTW, anybody who hasn't watched Venture Bros., they've got the whole first season up right now on Adult Swim's Website: http://www.adultswim.com/adultswimfix/index.jsp Just click over to page 2.

I know I bring this show up a bit from time to time, but I just think it's the show would appeal to a lot of people on here. Obviously, the comic book, sci fi, 70s and 80's tv geeks are covered, but they also have quite a few music references. In the season finale for season 2, David Bowie turns out to be the head of the main criminal orginization in the show and his body guards, Iggy Pop and Klaus Nomi turn on him and join sides with the #2 guy who is trying to take over. What other show would have a David Bowie vs Iggy Pop and Klaus Nomi rumble????

When you think about language barriers, most cartoons without speaking parts were favorites in MEXICO and in present day:

    Tom & Jerry
Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote (and most Looney Toons)
    The Pink Panther

My favorite characters out of those were possibly the wolf from Droopy: "It's the Laaaaawwwww 'f the West", FogHorn LegHorn, and Pepé Le Pew.

I feel old after reading this thread. I can't believe that there are adults that still watch cartoons.

from old school cartoons, i probably like bugs bunny the best, with tom and jerry, road runner and coyote, and anything with donald duck going ballistic in it.

family guy, futurama (which i watch pretty much every night on adult swim), and simpsons are obvious choices.

i don't think i really watch any non-fox primetime cartoons but those except for aqua teen hunger force. and i can't decide if i thought the season premiere was cheap and out of character for ATHF, or ridiculously funny. i'm a little torn.

i remember a few times back in the day i saw tv ratings that went through every show and pinky and the brain finished dead last, like 118 out of 118, a few times. i always thought the show was pretty funny. not futurama or simpsons funny, but pretty good. at least you get to hear "the brain," maurice lamarche, on futurama with a few characters.

I seriously think Venture Bros is up there with Family Guy and the Simpsons as the funniest animated show ever.

Its sick, twisted, brutally clever and just plain weird.

    Spongebob Squarepants

(Sandy, the squirrel from Texas, may be the best cartoon character on tv)
