I love the Heisman voters! Voted my guy first and Dorsey last... doesn't get much better. It's definitely surprising how big the margin was, though. McGahee and Dorsey appeared to literally split the vote... almost the exact same for both.
And good luck in your long and great NFL career, Mr. Palmer. Too bad Brad Banks didn't get it.....but it couldn't go to a more deserving guy.
Well I can't edit my post......... But where did you see the voting breakdown? I turned off ESPN right after they announced it......is it on the web somewhere?
Palmer beat Banks by a LOT. 1. Palmer 2. Banks 3. Johnson 4. McGahee 5. ........Dorsey WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Palmer had 1300 something Banks had 1000 something LJ had 700 something McGahee had 660 Dorsey had 643
You sure are one bitter individual. Why you are celebrating Roy Williams coming back to Texas, I will be celebrating yet another Miami NC. So, suck it!
Why, cause I actually think Miami can lose? All I meant by that comment is that OSU has a chance in this game. Anyone who thinks Miami's team speed will automatically give them a win can look back two years ago. Do I think Miami will lose? No. But they haven't won it yet. That's all I meant. And if you're on me for being anti-Dorsey... I'm not anywhere close to the only one.
It is a complete travesty that Palmer won this award over the best quarterback in the country, Chris Simms.
Yeah, that was really necessary to this thread, especially when I've proclaimed Palmer as the best quarterback in the country for several weeks now.
Timing, I agree. I find it incredible to believe that almost 1000 voters felt there were at least 2 QB's better than him this season.
And in that search you'll find quotes from me in October, not December. My bad on overreacting... criticism of Chris Simms is one of my weak spots, as you know.
Earned, jackass. I apologize that I don't think interceptions that go off of a receivers hands should be held in the same regard as interceptions that are thrown straight to the defense.
I can't believe Johnson didn't win. 8 yards per carry, that is just sick. Did he have the best o-line in the history of college footbal or something?
