and threatens to pull out the retirement card if not traded. http://twitter.com/mortreport/status/29245968239042560
A trade is actually probably best for both teams. Palmer isn't the same quarterback he was a few years ago. The Bengals aren't going anywhere with the roster as it is currently assembled. They need to start over. Palmer needs a fresh start too. I'm sure he is worn down by the circus that has been the Bengals franchise. All the arrests, the diva wide receivers and such has to be tough to deal with.
He should come to Houston so we can get we want Carson chants when Matt Schaub throws an incomplete pass.
I can't see him commanding much in a trade. If I were the GM I'd almost want to call his bluff, force him retire for crying. I guess he probably deserves a trade though.
Carson Palmer is demanding a trade? What a joke! This is like Kris Brown demanding a trade from the Texans last year. He's pretty much washed up at this point. The Bengals should oblige with a trade or just cut him. They need a fresh start as much as he does.
ahhh to be a bengals fan. BUNGALIZED! i dont blame palmer though. my guess carson heard bratkowski is coming back and now wants out
mikey boy wouldnt trade chad for a 1st and 3rd...palmer wont draw that type of an offer. this is hilarious. mike brown is a joke
nah he wanted owens, asked brown to bring him in, in the offseason. he just like benson and chad hate bratkowski and his playcalling. benson came out at very end of the season and said he's gone if brat is back as well.
Palmer to Titans Vince to Bengals. Vince, Ocho and TO all together. That has to be interesting Rocket River
Not a bad idea but isn't VY overpaid, or was it all in bonus? If he is overpaid I doubt the Bengals or anyone else would want to pay - they'd just wait for his release.
The first team I thought of was San Fran. Carson is a west coast guy. I know he's not a great QB, probably top half of the league.. but with that 49ers team in that division i could see them winning 10+.
Palmer: "Trade me, if you don't I'll retire and you'll never hear from me again" Bengals management: "You promise?"
