Carr's option already picked up?

    … The Texans have already decided to pick up the buyback option in the contract of quarterback David Carr.


    :confused: Who wants our #1 pick? start lining up .....

    I don't think it's official, yet. But, Mr. McNair has already stated as much. The question will be whether they pick the 2 year option or the 3 year option. This is in no way suprising.

    That said, I wonder if there is any team with multiple 1st rounders this year that will want Leinart or Reggie Bush. If so, that's who you target. There are plenty of 1st round worth OL coming out. More than enough to be able to draft 2.

    David Carr is not the problem and never has been. The coaching, front office and ridiculous personnel decisions are at fault. If the Texans go and draft another QB in the first round, they are going to be right where they were 4 years ago. They'll have a new staff, a new scheme and a new leader...

    I'd say Carrs played decent after that brutal first game. He's adjusted well. 4 tds, 1 int. QB rating in the 80's. Last game he was quicker to make decisions
