My fingers are starting to hurt a lot just doing nothing and its because of all the work im doing on the computer recently. I have also notice my elbows hurt and are losing strength. Anyone have any tips on what I should do before this becomes a big problem? I know there are products you can buy that can help adjust your wrist position to make it better but I don't know which ones to purchase. Does anyone have any of these pads that work and are cheap?

You are probably sitting incorrectly at your desk, slumping, etc. This can lead to issues.

Also, you are probably using your wrist movement on your mouse, you should keep you wrist locked in place and move your whole arm.

The Joystick style mice work pretty well. You may also want to try an ergo key board with a wrist cushion.

Make sure your desk and monitor are at the correct height as well.

Get bean bag style keyboard and mouse wrist rests; they're much more comfortable than the gel style ones. My days as a keyboard warrior as not numbered thanks to them.

Would link but posting from a mobile.

You can work the affected muscles by gripping a tennis ball (depending on hand size) from time to time.

Get a keyboard wrist pad so your typing its easier in the wrists. I gas a coworker who bought one of those split keyboards designed to naturally fit your wrist movements.

Do more research and see a doctor. Its actually cheaper right bow....

Anyone been diagnosed with CTS? What were the symptoms?
Or what was the diagnosis (not actually CTS)?

Fingers/hands hurt a lot, which affects arms, too. Think I'm being referred for an EMG.

Do this and it will fix everything. If your desk is too high, get a keyboard tray.

    you need some healthy balls

Although unsupported by scientific research, these healthy balls activate different therapeutic pressure points found in the palm of the hands and
help exercise the muscles around the wrists, hands and arms, thereby improving overall energy flow.
