I'm thinking of a young veteran NBA SG whom we can pair with Tmac and Yao and he came up to my mind..Is he a good fit? If JVG is still the coach, our drafted rookie surely will never start (expect wesley again..oh my!) other options...MoPete,Pietrus,Childress...etc.. any other suggestions?

Dont bring back Wesley and I would sign Butler to replace him at SG

    Yao
    Swift/Howard
    Tmac
    Butler/Head
    Rafer/Spanoulis

Bring in Cassell and draft JJ Redick and we're GOOOD TO GO!!

Butler signed an extension last summer, along with Tayshaun Prince and Mike Dunleavy, all around 4/5 years for $44 million. It's a great market for swingmen right now, all triggered by Milwaukee and Los Angeles signing Bobby Simmons and Cuttino Mobley. The only wings we might be able to get this year with the MLE are old, injury prone or cancerous...

Morey and Dawson are gonna have fun this summer, I think!

I notice your signature about Yao's statistics..Do you believe Yao will reach 23 and 10.5 by the end of the season?

I believe so he's been avging around 27pts per game since Allstar break and with a couple of 35pts game he'll be up to 23pts per game. Yao getting 10.5 reb I'm not to sure his rebounding has gone up much the past 2 months it has been around 10.1-10.3

    I think he'll end up at 23.1pts 10.3rebs

WoW 23.1 points pretty impressive... hope he will reach 25 and 11 next season.
if so the scoring and rebounding will probably rank top 10 both

As already mentioned, Caron Butler is already locked up. But you get the idea....Butler is exactly the "type" of 3rd scorer wingman this team needs. I have mentioned Mo Peterson's name over the last few years as well and he is another decent candidate. But I dont see those teams moving those guys.

In terms of "Butlers" you of course can get Rasual Butler from the Hornets. He is a FA and would be a nice backup SF to back up Tmac. He has a nice 3pt shot.
