Carmelo Anthony puts hit out on social media w**** via twitter

I was there the whole time, watching it unfold. Melo was being cool to everyone, haven't seen a celeb really give back like he was responding to everyone he could. She crossed the line he got upset. I wouldn't call it a hit. He shouldn't have been baited but he apologized quickly. I actually gained some respect for him last night. He showed zero ego and just wanted to be on the same level as everyone else.

When I say I was there I mean watching it through Twitter.

What Melo did was wrong obviously. You can't put hits out on people no matter what they say. I kind of feel bad for him because as someone pointed out, it seemed like he wanted to just spend some time on Twitter responding to his fans and haters.

Some people do need to be slapped, but you can't pay people to do it.

But duh, he shouldn't have put up money and tell people to record a video with a name and address.

The good news, if there is anything good from this, is that his trade value just took a hit...on the downside is there will be plenty fans that will hate the move if he is traded for.

 

He is just not a leader, not a guy to build a real team around.....too immature....and doesn't compete all the time on the floor.....

Overated as a player, IMO, and clearly not that good of a person, either.

Obviously what he did was wrong, but put yourself in his shoes, if someone was talking smack to your wife to the point it went overboard would you just sit out and not defend your wife. Carmelo got heated and said something he shouldn't have said, there is no denying that. I agree that he is not a leader, but as a player he is still worth the risk he carries. With that said I still hope Morey can get swing trade for an impact player not named Carmelo.
