It's nice for the league to give him a warm up game against an NBDL team before letting him play against NBA competition...

Nuggets fans should be very excited. I think J.R. Smith is going to have a problem being pushed aside on offense. If Camby stays healthy, the Nuggets will make a huge push.

Damn those Nuggets are going to be a scary scary team. Its going to create mismatch nightmares for opposing defenses. Much like the Rockets shoulda woulda.

The Nuggets will lose to the Grizzlies due to defensive miscommunication between Carmelo and the the rest of his team.

The Nuggets get disqualified after trying to play with two balls.

I think that he and AI will coexist better than everyone thinks.
Melo really doesn't dominate the ball like most superstars, he can score on the move or in the post, or while spotting up off of penetration (AI).

I can forsee JR being pushed out of the rotation or being put into an awkward spot similar to Jamal Crawford out in NY.

With two more well recognized stars such as AI and Melo, kind of how Marbury and Francis, Crawford often outperformed them but was coming off the bench anyways due to flaws in his game and his status in the league. I see JR doing the same thing but to a lesser extent since he is a less productive player.

THANK GOD! That was a long damn 36 days.

AI & Melo aren't going to be a problem. I don't even think JR will be a problem. He really looks up to Melo and AI, so he'll be ok being the third wheel. Right now, he's struggling with confidence. Hopefully the game against you guys got him going again. I worry about Camby. Odds are, he'll be fine. That said, for some reason I'm just nervous about him. As for the rest of our team, there aren't any chuckers left. Blake, Diawara, Kleiza, Najera, Evans, Nene... none of them NEED the ball or worry about getting their points.

I tell you, if we go with a small ball lineup like some suspect (Blake, AI, JR, Melo and Camby), JR and Blake are going to be out there playing HORSE with everyone else. I'm just looking forward to the first time we're down 1 with 7 seconds left. You know we're going 1-3 pick and roll.

The Nuggets will not win without Camby. He is the perfect complimentary piece for that team. Then again, he will probably get hurt soon so everything will be moot.

That's a pretty bold statement to make. Maybe it's true, maybe it isn't, but that's quite bold. Camby is playing hurt right now...and um, there's no way in hell Karl would move Camby...just my opinion. So Camby's happiness is irrelevant.

    Nugs,

I think the nuggets made out like bandits in this trade. Talent wins in the NBA and anytime you get a perennial all star for bag of potato chips, you have to feel good. It almost makes up for the Skita draft pick. If you get KMart healthy and Camby can stay healthy during the playoffs, you should be contenders in the coming years. And to top it all off, the style of basketball is fun to watch.

    Congrats.
