Olympic winner Carl Lewis arrested for drunk driving (4/22/03) — Nine-time Olympic gold medallist Carl Lewis has been arrested on charges of driving under the influence. A California highway patrol says he found Lewis alone and drunk in his car. His 2004 Maserati was damaged on its right side. Police believe he ran into a wall next to the freeway. Lewis failed a series of sobriety tests and a breath test later showed his blood-alcohol level was .08, which is illegal for drivers in California. ----
