With are go to guy down the stretch gone we need somebody to pick up the slack.

-We all know Scola disappears in the 4th quarter
-AB is very inconsistent in the 4th
    -Trevor is inconsistent period
-Kevin Martin is going to take time to become a go to guy and is a big ?

So who do we go to in crunch time now that are main man Carl "false tooth" Landry is lost

Definitely AB. That's our best scorer right now.

We dont know any of that will still hold true.

First, we need to build leads so we dont have to go to someone specifically to bail us out in crunch time. With a lead the offense flows better, less tension, more passes, easier buckets...

Second, once Martin is situated he's going to open up the floor for others. tonight i noticed a lot more good opportunities for scola and Brooks with Martin on the floor. His man is hardly floating around, if at all.

Third, Brooks has been more consistent the last month or so, he's been more confident, has more of a swagger. I feel confident he can score or make something happen as long as he's not doubled/trapped, with Martin that should hardly happen now.

We just need to face the fact that it may get rougher before it gets better. That may mean some losses, some bad stretches, etc. Just let them play team ball, shouldnt worry about going to just one guy.

Lol. Battier,Ariza,Andersen. AB and Kevin will have to the main guys. The others will have to play their roles.

We scored 115 points in the game.
We scored 50 points in the 2nd half.
We scored 25 points in the 4th quarter.

We gave up 125 points in the game.
We gave up 71 points in the 2nd half.
We gave up 35 points in the 4th quarter.

Instead of asking where our 4th quarter scoring is coming from, I'd rather ask where the hell did our 2nd half defense go? We just gave up 125 points to one of the worst teams in the league on our home court while we scored 115 points. I couldn't believe our PBP guys were asking where our 4th quarter scoring went as I was driving back to Dallas listening to the game on Sirius XM. What? Scoring 115 points isn't enough now?

It won't be with Martin. That guy REALLY sucks on defense. His go to move is to walk out of the way.

My vote would soon go to Martin. However, why are we acting like we scored 70-80 points this game?

We scored over 110, our defense was the problem tonight.

I don't think the Pacers have 35 point quarters if we're slowing down the game and banging inside to Landry instead of K-mart bricking shots that lead to easy buckets on the other end.

Isn't the answer clear? Jared Jeffries.

Heh, I don't know. I expect our team to see more games in the 110s the rest of the season. I think the white flag is halfway up the pole.
