Save him up for the Big Showdown in H-Town on Sunday.

No big surprise. They're probably just playing it safe. I hope he does play Friday though since I'm going to that game.

Agreed, we really could use him these two games... I thought for sure he was playing tomorrow.

We can/should still beat both teams, but they are both playing well and fighting for that last playoff spot in the east.

Could he potentially fly to Charlotte?

Get well Carl, and I think it shows how much the coaching staff likes and trusts Mike Harris.

Yes he could but then he would have to fly back to Houston for the game against Charlotte in the Toyota Center on Friday.

    :D

He could. But he'd look silly since the Bobcats game is in Houston. :D

no david west in that game

Hawks have a bunch of athletic frontcourt players, we are thin there without Landry.

Yeah, the Hawks are a pretty athletic team, but for whatever reason, they don't run very much. Ordinarily, I would say that their gameplan tomorrow would be to run as much as possible against us, but I'm not so sure that's the case anymore without Yao (not that it would work with him, but for obvious reasons, it's even less smart without him)... but having Landry would have made that strategy even less effective.

Either way, we have guys that can stop them. We just have to keep Smith and Horford from cleaning up the glass.

One more win and will it be "Are the Rockets better without Landry?" time yet?

Signing on Mike Harris and Justin Williams makes complete sense now. Gerald Green wasn't going to give us any added depth, and with guys like Landry, Scola, and Hayes who play that physical style of basketball in the paint, injuries are always a risk. All good though....Landry will be back for Sunday. There's no need to risk him getting a long-term injury against teams we SHOULD (no jinx no jinx no jinx) be able to handle without him.
