I've been reading the Cards Talk BBS (a really good board with knowledgable fans, not the idiots on ESPN boards). However, this thread shows that they have begun to feed upon their own. http://forums.stltoday.com/viewtopic.php?t=199555&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Not bandwagon fans, just complaining fans. Big difference, if they jumped off the bandwagon they would not be posting. DD
I don't think they have a moderator currently awake, because there is no way this thread stays open on CF.net: http://forums.stltoday.com/viewtopic.php?t=199760
Mizzou Tiger clearly does not like LaRussa, whilst a lot of people here question Garner (myself included) but acknowledge that we would not have even gotten in to the playoffs without him. I guess all managers make mistakes. We could be up 3-1 if Miceli stayed on the bench in game 2... Ah well...we will get em tonight. DD
Someone who is registered over there start a thread about the Tavarez broken hand rumor. I would register, but I'm afraid to. I just know I will overreact to some of the stupidity I have read and post something to get me banned.
Cool! I wanted to register to back you up, but they won't take yahoo addresses, and I refuse to put my work email on the net.
Honestly, when the Astros play the Cards, sometimes I spend more time over there than here. I've been followin that place since college... its not bad, but its not regulated, so on game-day you'll see 100 new posts after single events (imagine the activity when Beltran went yard yesterday... they're literally in shock still). I like the post Codell... its seems like they're in "apprehensive denial" regarding the issue.
I just printed that whole thread and gave it to one of my coworkers (a very loyal yet humble Card fan). He can't believe it. I guess every team has those kinds of "fans". If we lose this series* you KNOW there are going to people that say we "choked". *We're NOT going to lose this series
is anyone here registered as "poopscoop" on their forum? if not, he just said that Tavarez's hand was broken in 2 places.
