    Pretty self-explanatory.

It's been about 10 years since I had to get a car's windows tinted and I don't know where to go. To be specific, I need old tint removed and new tint installed.

Looking to spend less than $200, considering the other time I had to do this it was $110 without removal of existing tint.

Stereo FX on 45 N across from Fry's. You can call before hand and make an appointment so you don't have to wait in line. I got my car (4 windows and back) for $90.

Executive Tint. 75$ on four windows (I don't know how much they charge for the back), they have 2 locations.

    1- on Hillcroft and westheimer
    2- on Gessner and I-10

Limo tint everywhere (except the windshield, of course): 2 door windows, 2 rear quarter panel windows, and rear hatch.

That's what I need, aside from the limo tint part.

Does anyone have experience with having old tint removed? Does that raise the cost significantly?

I don't think it adds to the cost. It's just part of the process.
I got the top/best quality or whatever is was with a lifetime guarantee. The total was somewhere around $200. I had this done ~3 years ago so I don't remember the exact cost.

Then I stored the car in the garage before I left for school. She needs some work. :(

For $75-$100, aren't you getting the cheap film? If so, it could bubble and/or turn purple within a few years.

Executive Tint does a a great job until you need warranty work. Then they treat you like a leaper.

I spent around $200 (with lifetime warranty) at Executive tint on a Honda Accord six years ago. After 5 years all the windows had developed bubbles, took it back to them and they changed out all the tint.

I got 20% all around, with the diamond tint and warranty, and it came out to about $275, which included removing my old tint. That was a couple years ago though, so things might have changed at the I-10 and guessner location.
