I have a 2008 Honda Civic, and whenever my car is on park or whenever I'm braking at a signal or what not, my car shakes.

It does it significantly more when I have my air conditioning on. It also makes a noise when the AC is on, whereas when I turn it off I notice significantly less noise.

What are some differen problems that it could be, and how can I fix this?

    Thanks!

Means your car is heating up? I think.. I'm no car expert, but a lot of people's cars do this though.

Is the warranty still applicable? If so, you should set up an appointment at the dealership.

    4 cylinder?

The 4 cylinder is an unbalanced little b*stard that does this.

The AC compressor makes noise. When you turn off the AC the clutch on the compressor stops it from spinning and the noise is gone.

Motor mounts? Wouldn't make sense though since it is almost new. You should go to the dealer since you are more than likely covered.

I would've guessed the same thing.

The vehicle should be under warranty, let the dealership handle it.

The thingiemajigs where the motor sits may have moved since you started driving it. Did you notice this happen after you hit a curb or maybe went over a speed bump too fast?

Put the car in neutral. Let the engine idle... does it shake?
Now step on the accelerator and give it some couple more thousands of RPMs... does it shake now?

I don't know WTH could be wrong, but  these are just some diagnostics you can do to pinpoint WHEN and HOW it shakes.

For me, in an old 2001 Honda Civic, it was that a belt was loose. A $150+ job if not under warranty.

Make sure your parking break is not engaged!
