    Hey guys,

I was parked in a parking lot, and someone hit my front bumper (reverse parked), and then ran away. I came out and saw it.

I was wondering where I could get BMW Auto parts, and also if anyone has any idea it would cost to get it pained if I found a primed one. Also, how much would installation.

I could just claim it on my insurance but if it's cheaper than what my deductible is, wouldn't it be smarter to just take care of it on my own?

    Any insight would be great...

Why do you want a new part? Just get it fixed unless it is totally crunched.

Go get an estimate from a shop, deduct 10% and then use the adjusted estimate amount as a basis for whether to file a claim.

On a BMW, if you are replacing the cover, you are looking at $700-$800 versus $200-$400 if it can be repaired.
