    CFers,

Looking for a new car repairmen that is reliable and trustworthy. Preferably one that has his own shop and could even come to my place. Right now I specifically need to have my brakes fixed but looking for general repairs in the future as well.

    Car: 08 Altima

    Any recommendations?

Need more details. What kind of car do you drive?

I got a good mechanic if it's a TESLA model 3 or CLA

For brakes you don't need him to come to your house... just take the car to him... but if that's the only way you can get it done, there won't be many that do that.

Just check on Google for people near you and look at the reviews, man.

I could do it... Unfortunately in Austin and currently tied up with rebuilding top of the engine on an 05 Altima. I will tell you that the brake job is easy, so don't get taken. I could do all 4 brakes with new rotors/pads/bled/Pad Retainers etc in 2 hrs or less (maybe 4 Hrs if you trashed the system and needed more parts, Calipers Etc).

Anyway, this job is so easy (even with basic tools it'd take longer And more elbow grease if no Airtools it can still be done)... just make sure to price the parts at an Auto shop and don't get taken or BS'd to by Mechanic

Now what's a PITA on these cars is some engine work. . . The headgasket And more is a CF, could almost debate new engine, luckily yours is 08, 02-06 2.5 Altimas are absolute garbage until Mods are done to fix major engine issues. . Surprised Nissan didn't get sued.
