ive recently come to the conclusion that i might need a new car. my current car is old and can not pass inspection at the moment because of the things it needs fixed (somewhere between $800-$1200 worth of work). one of the mechanics said its not worth it to fix it...might as well get a new car. my question for everyone is what is a good car dealership that you have had a good expereince with and has good pricing on cars. thanks in advance.
I had a good experience at Sterling McCall toyota when I got my truck. I went through the internet sales manager and got a great price, went in and test drove, came back a few days later and bought it; didn't feel pressured at all during the whole process. The only negative things I have to say was that they screwed me on the VIN etching, slipping that cost in at the last second (we couldve gotten that done someplace else for cheaper). Sterling McCall had the best price by far of any toyota dealerships around Houston.
My family has purchased most of its cars over the past decade from Honda of Clear Lake and we have been very pleased with them. I know you aren't in this area though, so I'm not sure how much that helps. If you're looking for something reliable, low maintenance and affordable, go with a used Toyota or Honda. You can probably find one for a very reasonable price at just about any dealership. On another note, I was just looking at the Stalkers website and I like the new layout you've got on there, but the video is really small. If there's anyway you could make it bigger on the page, or change the link below it to say something like "Click here for larger version", I think it'd be nice.
thanks for the quick responses clutch, nice idea. ill probably end up putting a link in there once i get back to working on it again.
Don't get caught up in focusing on just one dealer. You need to play at least two dealers and their prices against each other. Otherwise, you could be paying much more over invoice than you have to. If they don't have to beat someone else's price, then all they have to do is beat you. You play your cards right...and you should be looking at less than $600 over invoice if a this year model and much less than that if it is a last year model.
it dosnt really matter...something affordable and reliable. anything is better than what i have right now.
Are you looking for how much a car loan will cost? If so just search the classifieds for cars and use a loan calculator. http://www.edmunds.com/edweb/loan/calculator.html
im just looking for all my options. just need a new car as my 1993 jeep cherokee sport is old. frankly 1200 is too much just to fix an old car.
I highly recommend Baker Jackson Nissan. The GM is a very good friend of mine, and he has given every friend and family member I sent over there anything they want, invoice +$200 - any available rebates. He'll also find a 3rd party to bid on your trade to maximize you there. Ask for John Hankins (again, he's the GM).
Munday Chevy SUCKS. Do not go to them at all. This is for everyone. Horrible service and distasteful title employees. They are discriminatory to anyone "different" then them and don't want to admit they have problems.
