The Tinman honda civic has died after 177K miles, the radiator blew and caused all this damage ($2500) so I called this salvage place and they were will to pay $300 for it and tow it for free. my other friend told me that i should tow it back home and sell it on the classifieds, says i could get $1000 or more i need the clutchfans automotive people to help me on this one!
donate it to charity, use the write off, plus they woulda towed it for free regardless of teh condition of the car.

Yeah I think i'm going to tow it back to my place and sell it on craigslist as a 'needs repair' or for parts. i'll put what repairs need to be done for it.
my brother in law had a 91 honda prelude. It was all sorts of broke down. Didnt run. paint all rusted. Sold it for about $1,000. This was like in 2004. he just towed it and parked it on a busy intersection near his apt (gulfton and chimney rock) and put a for sale sign in the windshield. Some dood called him like 3 days later with an offer. Kind of a pain in the ass, but if you are willing to go through the trouble....
