His skills may be best suited for a center, but he runs like gazelle forcing defensive mismatch while opposing bigs picking their nose while running back to defense. In addition he has 3pt range, sets lots of pick's and is more of a creator on the court, does a lot of dirty work. He also pretty bad rebounder, for center tho.

We can have our Duncan/Splitter, Asik/Davis or LMA/Kaman thing, why not? He fits pretty well with Howard.

The LA "defenders" lost their last game to their opponent 169:174.

    D-league stats mean sheet.

Fringe talent is almost like a soap opera.....

Yeah, it's the "Duuuuhhh" League. Where NBA bench warmers, showcase their elite skill, which don't mean squat in an NBA game. Just a reminder of how good the NBA talent is, where NBA stiffs are still head and shoulders better than 99.9999% of the playground wannabe's.

And for us the fans, uhmmmm.... well it's fun to watch and stat follow.

A disclaimer, I too jump on the bandwagon of fringe D-League and 2nd round talents. And heck every once in a while a Parson come up, and Morey is vindicated once again. And it was fun to follow the soap opera!!

From those highlights, we see that he can dunk the ball. But i'd like to see his game when he isn't able to just dunk it in. i hope he develops that part of his game, where he is forced to have go-to moves. The small sample we got of him in the nba, he was missing layups and short hooks, not to mention nervous FT shooting.

Keep in mind Nick Johnson was putting up big numbers too...Lots of open dunks for Capela...but it's nice to see some legit moves here and there.

He is an irresistible combo of Desagana Diop, Malick Badiane, Bismack Biyombo and Yinka Dare.

the 31 points sound awesome but they are pretty unimpressive when you look at how he got them. I'm hoping by this time next year he'll be forcing his way on to the big team.

Nobody plays defense in the D-league, so he gets easy dunks. He definitely has the upside to become a great player down low, but he needs to develop some sort of post game before I say he progresses.
