As much as I want the Rockets to prevail; I would have no problem to see Nash & Hill get a ring; they are as well as the Rockets due for a ring (or another one for us). I just like players like Nash and Hill as they are classy, show some brain, and truely love the game. I think players like them are good amabassadors for the game. Flame me, but they are just players I have a high regard off, no matter which team they play for. They are good for the league and what is good for the league is good for me. This counts for many other players and that alone is reason for me to hope them to suceed. And yes, this list includes Tracy; and I truely hope this year he makes the last cut for his personal oscar worth nba movie.......

EDITED: I have no clue why I started this thread; it may be because i want the season to start so badly or because I'm slighlty oily on my liver. Anyway, in before the lock. Clutch; the money is on the way..........

Nothing wrong with that. I have high regard for a number of athletes not on my favorite teams. At the core, we're all sports fans who like to see amazing athletes perform at the highest level, and it helps when those athletes are also good people.

I wouldn't mind Hill and Nash getting rings, but can't stand Pheonix as a team. Hate Amare because he is trans-positioned. He can't make up his mind if he wants to be a PF, C, or now, a SF. Can't stand Marion's shooting (UGLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!). Plus if they win, then we are going to hear now-stop about how you need run-and-gun teams to win, etc, etc, etc on ESPN every single day!

Nothing wrong with being a Phoenix fan. The way I see it, you guys should have been the champions last year if not for Horry-gate.

Take Nash off the Suns and they are a 35 win team.

So you'll forgive me for, entering the 1994-95 season, telling my friend Dave that if "the Bulls don't win it, I'd like to see Malone and Stockton win one."?

    Actually said it! :D

Grant Hill and Penny are two guys I wanna see with a ring, since I could say they been 2 of my favs since I started watching basketball in 95.

But really, the season needs to hurry up and start. Thank God football has started up, it will stop the bleeding.

thats a common misconception. suns are decent at defense. Their offense goes by fast, which means more possesions for the other team, which means more likely points for the other team. A bad defense team, would be warriors. also note, that suns have raja bell, shawn marion, and amare. Their very talented defenders.

I agree with you. But I don't feel as sorry for Hill cause he made a hell of a lot of money since his pre-magic days which I felt was when he was in his prime although he was very often injured. I really feel sorry for Penny. he is one of my favourite players of all time. I think he could have been a HOF player if he was not injured. He worked hard to recover.....I really do hope that he end up with a ring. But looking back...there are a lot of players that I love and felt should have got a ring...players like Kevin Johnson, Starks, Houston, Sprewell....

talking about overdue rings, i think with this "possible" being Deke last season, i hope he will get his ring finally.

Players i think more deserving of a ring, garnett and kidd.

Did I see Amare and talented defender in the same post? Less than 5 words apart? Lol, no.

Marion is a good defender. He's long, he's quick, he's strong, and he can jump out of the gym. Raja Bell grabs and holds and gets away with with rough and tumble play. But Amare...he's good for the spectacular block about once or twice a game. That's it. Dude can't stay in front of his man. -Recalls clips of Amare getting abused on D- Yup. He can't.

I pretty much hate anybody who is not on the Rockets.

But Grant Hill has always been my favorite non-Rocket ever. The guy was the next Magic Johnson had he not gotten hurt. Shooting, slashing, dunking, passing, there is nothing the guy couldn't do. I would love for him to get a ring, but not with the Suns.

I don't mind Nash or even Marion (though every time he makes one of those ugly ass three pointers against us, it makes me want to vomit and break my tv), but screw Amare. The guy is just a straight up punk with no class.

Also, did somebody mention Spreewell deserves a ring?!?!

Just because a guy isn't on your team, and hes damn good, doesn't mean you have to hate him!

Admit it, even you were happy when we got T-Mac, Deke, or even Battier
