I accidently downloaded some spamware thing and I can't get it off my desktop. Its called Intelligent Desktop. I ran adaware and the whole nine. Can anyone help?
Go to My Computer, Add or Remove Programs. Delete it. If it's not there, then go into program files and it should be all the way at the bottom since it's newly installed. Delete the entire folder if you can. If you can't do that, get Spybot Search and Destroy.
Spybot Search and Destroy is far more superior to Ad-Aware. After you download Spybot and before you run it, search for updates. Then run it. It should be searching for about 9700 instances of spyware. Good Luck.
You could also go into your registry and zap it, but I wouldnt recommend that unless you were familiar with what you were doing,
Get a registry cleaner from www.download.com or .net, either one works.... I have one and all you do is click it and remove it.... that way if you dont know the software or the author, then you can just get rid of it without potentially screwing something else up.
I'd try SpyBot. If that doesn't work, I'd go with RegCleaner. It should be one the download.com site. Both programs are free, so it can't hurt. Be careful with registry cleaners. I believe RegCleaner makes a backup before cleaning up.

Well you're going to need to installed spybot and run it and see if it get rid of your trouble first.
