Here’s my top candidates for the rockets number 9 draft pick:

.) Darius Miles- has a good chance of being the best player to come out of this draft.
Probably will be gone by 9.

.) DeShawn Stevenson- great handles, great scorer, 44 inch vertical. Too much talent to pass up. Hopefully the rockets won’t pull another Rashard Lewis.

.) DerMarr Johnson- great athleticism, great shooter, 6’9 player that can play the 1,2, and 3.

.) Olumide Oyedeji- fills the void at the power forward position with toughness, defense, rebounding, and athleticism. He can be an inside force offensively with a little help from dream and carol dawson.

.) Courtney Alexander- probably the safest pick the rockets can make. He’ll come in and contribute right away

.) Desmond Mason- a Michael Finley type player. He has a nice shooting touch and can definitely electrify the arena with his dunks.

.) Jerome Moiso- has no intensity, unconsistent, takes bad shots, shys away from contact, thin frame will get him pushed around by the bigger stronger power forwards of the nba.

.) Mike Miller- turnover prone player.
