    @Reeko

Name me one nation or territory that was not founded in a non violent way?

    Columbus did bad things yes

But his job was harder than going around the country eating hot dogs

Someone explain the difference between "cancel culture" and "democracy"?

Democracy is when you vote for things.
Cancel Culture is when you are Kevin Hart and they found out you made some jokes on twitter 10 years ago and tell you right away you can't host the Oscars.

That would be the first thing that has ever made me want to go to Ohio.

Flavortown home of BW3, Jenni’s, White Castle, and Wendy’s.

    I think it fits.

You got to put the fire department near Wendy's,
I heard white girls want to burn it down because somehow the Baconator and Frosty's are related to police brutality.

That was probably a disgruntled Waffle House waitress taking out a competitor during the chaos. No one ever talks about restaurant on restaurant violence.

Restaurants in Flavortown are competitive but stand together when outside restaurants show up trying to change the local flavor.

My city has changed names twice since we stole it from the Creeks, so...

I just appreciate that they changed it from York. Strangely we got our current name for some guy that had absolutely nothing to do with our history.

I’m good with a selfie next to the “now entering flavortown” signs.

I don’t care what a city is named. I’ll start a petition to change Houston to “Tinman loves Jeremy Lin”

Too bad there's already a statue of Jeremy Lin in Portland giving a no look pass to Mo Williams

Keep Portland weird. But not too weird if you know Oregon’s racist tendencies.

Democracy is when you vote on things.

Cancel Culture is when your GM supports Hong Kong and your league's biggest money maker for shoes denounces him as 'uniformed' and ESPN personalities who make $10 million a year like Stephen A Smith says he should be fired.

I'm not too concerned about canceling long-dead, ruthless historical figures, and I see no good reason for Americans to celebrate Christopher Columbus. Let the residents of that city decide what it should be called. Flavortown works for me!

I wonder at what point we start renaming the calendar months. Julius Caesar wasn't such a nice guy, either. Is there a statute of limitations on canceling people? 1000 years?
