They won't let to take camera that has high zoom, or has video camera function. Otherwise, you good to go.

How big is your zoom? The vid function should matter, I take my Olympus all the time and has Quicktime recording, and never get questioned. You should be ok with your digi cam as long as it doesnt have like an outrageous professional zoom.

Contact them through the website. Or check on the official website. They will let you take a camera in and it can have video capability but the zoom is what they look at. They will not let you take in a camera with a certain lens and the lens has to be marked. There is a pretty good chance that you won't have a problem. IIRC the lens number was well above what most digital cameras have. I took one to a game a couple of years ago and actually shot video of a bat chasing Moochie around the court.

I have that exact camera....and they allowed it in at the Summit.....so I dont see any problem with it at the new place.

A friend once had a problem with one of the ticket ushers saying, "No, that has video, you can't take it in." If that happens, just ask for a supervisor who will likely understand that it's a camera. No one buys film cameras anymore.
