Can you sleep through thunder and lighting

I can sleep through a hurricane. I did.

I sleep better during a thunderstorm. I took my shift through Hurricane Ike as well and slept like baby after the eye wall passed over.

I think the better question is what strikes you first: the Thunder or the Lightning.

I think it depends whether your girlfriend is black or blonde.

 

I actually use a sleep sound app (this one) to produce thunder and rainstorm sounds every night. Makes me sleep like a baby.
