youtubedownloader works for me. it was referenced from msn.com, and had good reviews....seems not to have glitched up my machine.
I have a real player plugin that lets you save any YouTube video. I think Firefox has their own plugin for that, too. On an android phone, there are a few apps that let you rip the audio, or audio and video from any YouTube video as well.
Yes. I have an application on my home PC that allows me to save YouTube videos in about 4 different formats. I'm at work now and don't remember the app name.
thanks guys. going to try and stream the videos on occastion to my tv (through apple tv) so hopefully the quality is pretty decent.
That and videodl.org are my go-tos, but I understand there are actually scads of these sites out there. I believe Cuban might have even let a couple others slip on one of his "content monetization = cold fusion/time travel" rants on blogmaverick.
I can't be the only person who immediately thought of the guy from the "do you guys know how to post videos to facebook?" commercial.
Chrome YouTube Downloader - 2.6.4 http://www.chromeextensions.org/utilities/chrome-youtube-downloader/
I prefer keepvid.com because you can save just the audio from vids if you want as mp3, have a choice between saving vids as .flv or .mp4, and can save from other popular video sites and not just youtube.
i got all sorts of popups and crap trying to download on my machine when i tried to use keepvid??? Do I need to download the program and get an activation key -- or that just spam?
I don't think any one person can save them -- it will take the work of millions, but in the end I still think they are doomed.
I use Easy youtube video downloader which is a add on for most browsers. It has quality and format options: MP3/FLV/MPEG. http://www.bestvideodownloader.com/faqs
