http://encarta.msn.com/quiz/quiz.asp?QuizID=95 I got 15/16 right...I had a brain fart on #9, probabaly the easiest question on the whole damn thing! I can't believe I still remember the pythagorean theorum....It's like riding a bicycle.
14/16 which is pretty amazing considering I was guessing on all the ones involving area. I need to review.
I didn't pay attention on #10.....damn trick questions. Those things didn't fool me in eigth grade. I guess I'm getting old and slow.
16 of 16 with three lucky guesses! Funny how I haven't had to calculate circumference or identify congruent angles for the last 20 years!! My other guess was the coordinates thingy which could just as easily been a horizontal line to my way of thinking (or guessing).
Here you go, Good Will Hunting...a little implicit differentiation for ya...The problems are about halfway down the page...no peeking! ...and I'll have to take your word for it if you get them right. http://www.math.ucdavis.edu/~kouba/CalcOneDIRECTORY/implicitdiffdirectory/ImplicitDiff.html
This is gonna take awhile....I'll do it later when I have time. Differential equations are not difficult, just time consuming for someone out of college almost 20 years. I will do it because I enjoy a challenge such as this, just not this minute.
Behad, are you letting work get in the way of your bbs commitments again?? This is how we lost Refman. We almost lost Max. Don't let it happen to you.
It was "b". You have to find the circumference of the pot, which is pi (3.14) x diameter of the pot, then add the 18 inches for the bow...
16/16, but since my degree is in Maths and Economics, and I only graduated 3 years ago, I would have been upset to get any wrong...
