It's two minutes to go and WVU just went ahead 20-19 on probably the best second/third/fourth effort I've seen on a screen pass in a long time. What a play and geez, do I hope the #2 Canes take one on the chin!

That was one of the most amazing runs I've seen all season? That was sick.

What a catch by Winslow!! May have just saved the season!

On a side note, Sean Taylor sure would look good in a Texan uniform next year....

I hate that the Mountaineers are going to drop this one, because they've played a hell of a game. My kudos to them, but there are no moral victories.

A lot more entertaining game than I expected. Glad I flicked onto it rather than baseball.

nice job blitzing a linebacker on 4th and 13 coach. nm berlin looked like crap on the first 3 downs and you left the middle of the field open (and single covered winslow), just blitz. i usually like blitzing, but that was a horrible time in my opinion, especially since the blitz hadn't been getting there at all late in the game. of course winslow would make an amazing catch, even though he's dropped far easier passes, on an overthrown ball. after that it was a formality.

damn that TD by wvu was amazing. he was dead, then juked a guy, broke a tackle, and then just leveled a safety and stepped over him to get to the endzone. amazing. me and my roommate were freaking out, even though i knew miami would pull it off.

and now manny will come in here and tell us how he was really scared miami would lose as if they don't pull this crap off all the time. i hate miami's fans more than the players b/c they get to enjoy stuff they so don't deserve. your team gets outplayed and gets lucky to win tonight. such crap.

Um, what in the hell are you talking about? You know I didn't even see the game until with like 4 minutes left because I have like a *graduate business school class* on Thursday night. Yes, I did see the touchdown by WVU and I saw the field goal. But I can't comment on how *lucky* Miami was tonight since I didn't see except the last 3 f*cking minutes of the game, okay?

Obviously, Miami is struggling and I have said that before here. Brock Berlin does not have what it takes and I would not be surprised if Miami loses 2 games this season. Hell, I don't even know that Frank Gore is hurt. When I didn't see him out there, I was not happy. Payton sucks and without a decent RB, Miami is finished when it comes to the NC anyway.

So, what it boils down to is that you hate fans of teams that don't constantly underachieve like your team. Well, let me find my finger violin for you, f4p. Will that make you feel any better?

That catch by Winslow on 4th and 13 was amazing..

If Texans end up with a top 5 pick, I certainly wouldnt be mad if they took him!

I totally agree. They were sending three for every other down and dropping back into good coverage - and still getting a little pressure, enough to throw Berlin off - yet decide to change to the blitz for the most important down of all?!? I can see the gamble...but damn, stay with what works.

That broke my heart to see those WVU players and coaches after that FG went through. They left it all on the field and then some. They deserved to win (sorry Manny :D ).

How can you guard the best player on the field (Winslow) one on one at such a crucial point in the game?!?

no. now go look at those britney pics and pretend she's not freakin hot and that you don't like her.:)

dang, did i just get a settle from keeley? my relatively pissed off mood from the last few days (combined with little sleep thanks to tests) has finally been acknowledged. but i think i'm cooled off now. no more outbursts coming from this side.

Did anyone see SC this morning? The crew that covered teh game (notably Herbstreit) says Miami has lots of problems, noted things like players talking on cell phones during the game.
They better get everything straigtened out with FSU up next.
Also I hope Gore is ok, but it didn't look good.

Either way good win by Miami.

The cell phone is downright amazing. How can you not focus on the game that you put in so much time working with on the practice field and in the weight room? That is puzzling but sad as well. This doesn't bode well for Miami's chances for a trip to the natl. championship game.
